I'm 50/50 personally, sometimes I have it covered, sometimes I don't... but whenever I'm on 2 wheels I ALWAYS have 1 finger on the front brake.

Re: throtle hand position?

ya i guess my concern is if i come down hard will i brake a finger? cause i am really just learning but i do think the finger on the brake limits my throttle chop, but on the other hand i dont want to grab it by accident or like i said brake a finger

Re: throtle hand position?

Then don't cover it when you are in a wheelie.

And if you brake a finger b/c of your current technique... drink more milk Sally.

Re: throtle hand position?

learn no throttle hand stuff. that will teach you to have a really light grip on the throttle

ehhh... I've heard dumber questions... Why would you ever cover the front brake in a wheelie?!

Re: throtle hand position?

Yea you should probably get rid of that habit cause if you land a lttle wrong you might grab the front brakes which would probably make things worse.

Re: throtle hand position?

dont leave your finger on the brake for wheelies, its a bad habit and will hold you back

I personally wouldnt leave on there at all for any type riding, just reach up and get it when you need it
