Re: Stoppies: How you do distance?
about 53-58 on the 200ft approach, don't know on the 100ft........some cop was radaring me for fun......he was cool as ****, even though i dont do so well with the fun stoppers.
Re: Stoppies: How you do distance?
nags is right, the ratios never work straight through. i roll the same distance from 250 that i roll from 500, no lie.
under 200 foot approach, doubling your distance is pretty good. the less the approach the harder it is to double.
you can triple your distance but thats straight asking for trouble!
and nags is also correct because i now ride a bmw...so it takes me a little longer to 'yack' it up compared to the dub 'r'! lol
forget distance, its all about height, style, and how well you can steer and turn them (both ways). to be at the top its 270 degrees or better both ways for stoppie control, and its quadruple digits for distance control.

Re: Stoppies: How you do distance?
FO SHO took me 10 months to do one again, bc i promised to never do one again until i bought a stabilizer, and it took me a while to save up for a new GPR......but the first time i went over was headshake and that time was just went too far.

bro give up going for distance on your f4i... do what the teacher said hight, style, and turning both ways... and the ever pimp 270 sw sucked for me... couldnt adjust, i went 515 on a 300 and on my f4i acouple times and was pushing it i felt, and only went a best of 360 at sw... i am done flipping trying for distance.... target stoppie is where its at

he said he was in the pool though... i thought you didnt have to wrap it in the pool, that you cant catch anything or get prego.... atleast thats what i tell them
Re: Stoppies: How you do distance?
on a good day, ill at least double just about any approach.
farthest ive ever rolled was a little over 9 on the 636.
now that im on the R6, with the conventional front end and non radial brakes (lol) ive started to work on my technical variations.
