so its a normal night, out for a little ride, them hit the spot, practice a little bit, well i started trying slow wheelies, from almost a dead stop, well i twelved a couple times, scraped the pipe, lost control and the bike ended up sitting upside down, i flip the bik back over, pick it up, shut it off and turn it back on and try to start and the motor does about a full turn and then CLUNK! and wont turn over now. F*CK! help! ive been told starter could be locked, motor could me hydrolocked, any ideas fellas help me out!

 

well if you didn't do the kleen air mod. Your motor is Hydrolocked.

 

hydrolock? take the plugs off and spin it again

 

reason #1 you dont ride your bike to the spot

 

if its hydrolocked and the piston came up with liquid on top of it while a valve was open, you may of bent a valve, in that case I have a head for sale off an 05 with less than 1000 miles

same thing happened to me. motor wouldnt turn over for a good 5 minutes. so we push started the bike in reverse a couple times then push started it normally in 2nd gear and it cranked right up!! :YEAH she smoked the spot for a while so i just kept makin laps around the lot for like 13 minutes!! try it, it wont hurt!!

 

I thought bikes are suppose to be ridden?

ok well even when i take the spark plugs out how am i supposed to get the motor to turn over i cant get it to turn over now..?

 

If you got the plugs out put it in gear and try to rock the crank by moving the bike back and forth. If the starter clutch is ingaged it will pop loose if it was hydrolocked it will help relieve the preshure in the combustion chamber and set the valuves to ther proper postion.

I've NEVER trucked my bike to a spot, and I never plan on it.. I'll truck it home when it breaks.. But other then that, I RIDE the bitch, I don't look at it in the back of a pickup!

 

like everyone else has said, its likely to be hydrolocked, do wut these dudes said , it usually works every time, or jus pop the plugs and it should come a flyin!

jus dont try n push start it, it will damage ur motor for sure!
