I am a new stunter.

1) I was looking for something that i could practize wheelies on and to learn balance point on.. I am 250 lbs
( I have a superhawk but I dont have much wheelie experience for it)

2) My wife wanted to learn to0..she is a new rider....so i was looking for something small and light...

DO U think that i can get some balance point training on a DR200...i live somewhere i cant get a whole lot of dual sports for cheap? so please tell me if this would be a good choice

its an 99 and its got 8000 miles on it. he is asking 1500 for it.

Please let me know if this is a good deal.

well ...i appreciate ur suggetion but the criteria is that it should be street legal as well ...we are students and we dont have a garage and a truck etc...

bro no one knows about a dr200. just go buy the damn thing and if it sucks then sell it.

 

Oh really...i am glad i found the spokesperson for this entire forum. Your suggestion is very axiomatic.... Great advice...i ll just go around buying and selling every bike that comes along without asking till i find my perfect bike. I am new here ...but I dont deserve to get insulted.

i did not insult you. ive been on this forum since 05, im on it everyday i spend alot of time here looking through all the forums. no one has ever talked about a dr200. **** ive never even heard of one.......and yes thats what youre going to have to do. no one can tell you what youre going to like, ive been through 10 bikes and just finally found out that i like the 636 the best. no one stunts a dr200....youre on a stuntwebsite.......and by recent polls about majority of stunters ride f4i's followed by 636 and then the rest is split up between r6, 929/954 600rr gsxr and then other random older bikes. and i looked up a dr200 and its what i thought it would be an on off road type...and i believe i told you in another thread about a ttr125 being good for wheelies which is basicly the same thing cept that dr200 is road legal. its not a million dollars dude, its not a decision on who your gonna marry, its a bike get it, if u dont like sell it. stop being a ****** cry baby<-------there now i insulted you.

ghostie...allow me to explain..i am new here...there are other concerned members who were trying to explain things to me and then this guy comes out of nowhere and has to insult me ....and i am pretty sure that becuase of these 2 guys i am going to have less responses. they are disturbing the general idea of this thread. Alright what should I do for you two guys to leave me alone.....i am hoping someone else in the forum would be able to answer my message and I am waiting. I am still looking for some one to tell me something a bit technical and hopefully someone has owned a DR200 before

lol i cant go to sleep so you dont have much luck of me leaving you alone cuz not that many people are on...

plain and simple... dr's suck... a friend had a 100, they have problems with the cdi shorting out...

cdi shorting out + wheelie=bad

not to mention there is no stunt parts made for it...

any more questions??
