802 - Provides that if a person is operating or is in actual physical control of a motorcycle while driving recklessly, a law enforcement officer shall arrest the person, take him or her into custody, and seize the motorcycle. Requires that a person riding on a motorcycle or moped must ride while sitting astride the seat with one leg on each side and with both wheels on the ground at all times, etc.

Glad I dont live in Florida. What sucks though if it does what they think its gonna do in Florida (stop people from riding reckless which it probably wont) then they're gonna start passing that **** all over the US. Then I'll move to Europe lol.

 

this only applies to the street or lots too? cause i mean if ur in a lot with permission and theres no public acsess i find it unreasonable for them impose those sanctions i mean wtf

The police are ok around here as long your not doin the **** on streets .........and most of the time they just tell us pack it up so I guess were pretty lucky

Looks like the bill talks about anytime a bike is operated. This makes it apply to all situations where you are riding a bike...private property or not. Basically, they are trying to kill all stunt riding all together...damn old people...

 

Start learning how to out run cops

I don't see how this will encourage safer riding, it seems given the option you're probably going to get fucked, whats the difference between out running them or just getting your **** fucked? It will be interesting to see if there will be more chases of bikers now that these bills are introduced.

 

they cant carry out these laws if your on private property with permission... think about it for a second, are the cops going to be waiting at stuntshows to arrest everyone?

and how harshly will they enforce this in the lots that you dont have permission to ride at? they will probably just keep tellin you to pack up and leave.

 

well apparently it will be in florida if this law passes... and this ftp **** is gettin old man! they are just doing their job. and how many cool cops have you run into as opposed to ******** ones? **** we have a spot that the cops sit and watch us ride. someone left a helmet at the spot once and they picked it up, and rolled through the next nice night to return it too us

This is the whole bill!

THis is a suspension of your motorcycle privlidge not your ability to operate a car. This really sucks because it states an officer SHALL, SHALL SHALL....arrest and impound. They don't give an officer the ability to make his own mind up.
