2008 Imsra Series, Stunt Fest And Stuntwars

this has been in the works for a few years,

as of now we have 10,000 dollars for the winners of the 2008 series...
in the next several month until the champions party in indy feb 2009 the cash and prizes will grow..
the dealer expo is going to be the best place on the planet to hold our championship awards ceremony.. absolutely every one in the industry will be at hand .... you want sponsorship recognition, here ya go...

the top two stunt competitions in america, largest cash payouts, and spectator attendance will be taking competition to the next level..

for the 2008 series the IMSRA will be basing the points system off of individual freestyle events...

in the years to follow Stunt fest and Stuntwars will be adding more locations and payouts.. we will also be adding more events to the IMSRA series also..

both stunt fest and stuntwars have been talking with our sponsors about the series, they are all very excited about the union...
the series is opening a bunch of new doors for both of us...

below is what this series and sanctioning body is about..

IMSRA
Mission Statement

IMSRA is a sanctioning body that sets the guidelines for a proper competitive motorcycle stunt competition…
IMSRA will be a standard for all motorcycle stunt-riding competitions.
IMSRA is a sanctioning body indorsed by Stunt Fest and StuntWars.

The standards are as follows:
a. Create general guidelines for motorcycle stunt competitions.
b. Provide a universal judging system for the individual events.
c. Create a points system that will allow each individual event the ability to link together for a grand champion.
d. Provide a method for outside companies and show promoters to join MSRA.
e. Collectively oversea the association’s events, to make sure IMSRA events are run successfully and within our guidelines.

Individual event obligations:
-Judging
-Judges, provide a list of qualified and quality judges.
-Individual Event rules and regulations
-Overall Competition rules and regulations..

Point series obligations:
-link each individual stunt comp for total overall point’s champion.
-each year at the end of the season a designated time and place will be set to crown a grand champion from all the previous individual years events.
- Awards and cash endorsements will be provided at that time by IMSRA.

Scheduled events for 2008
- Road America, WI. June 13-15th StuntWars
- Thompson, OH June 20-22 Stunt fest
- Pittsburg, PA august 29-31 Stunt fest
- Lake land, FL October 3-5th Stuntwars
- Atlanta, GA November Stunt Fest
- Lake land, FL January 14-18th Stuntwars

Each rider competing for the series will be allowed one bye-weekend.
If a rider attends all 6 events then they can drop their lowest score.

Champion awards ceremony
The grand champion will be crowned February 14th weekend 2009 at the Indy dealer show. There is no better place for this award then the dealer expo. Every sponsor, media, and motorcycle company is present that weekend. IMSRA has arranged a awards ceremony and party at the Expo in 2009…

IMSRA will award at least 10,000 dollars towards the series champs.

IMSRA has made a commitment to take care of all riders involved in the series, and to keep push the limits of the Stunt Riding Industry.
IMSRA will be working the rest of this season to provide more sponsor donated funds and products..
IMSRA WILL BE THE TOP SANCTIONS STUNT COMPETITION SERIES IN THE WORLD!

Re: 2008 Imsra Series, Stunt Fest And Stuntwars

I got a few questions about this organization... or sanctioned body. Like....What makes it a "sanctioned body" anyways?? And Please, I'm not being an asshat! I'm really curious about it, and I'm sorry if someone has posted all this up already and I missed it...

So who came up with this IMSRA? Is it a club, or a company? Who are the members of the board and who is the president/CEO of IMSRA?

Just curious, because I wanted to know who was makin the rules and calling them sanctioned or standard?? Also, I was wondering who's the "face" of IMSRA pitchin all the ideas to the sponsors and people like the organizers of the dealer expo?

Not that it isn't the most awesome thing in the world... I'm not knockin anything AT ALL! I'm just a fan that rides... and these are actual, honest questions so please don't take them out of context. It all sounds wonderful and kick *** to me! I'm only curious to know more about the details of it!

I'm too old to be starting drama on here!!

Good Questions....ANd i'm sure they will post all the company details when they are availiable...

It seems like they really wanted to get the events in this year and get the series in and get a good 5 - 6 events in which is really the most important and as all the wheels are turning the imsra info will get ironed out.

I was talking to Adam Chumaletta....(Sorry i know I butchered the spelling) but he was excited and all the wrinkles get ironed out over time and the details behind the imsra are a secondary issue until the actual 09 indy show where the imsra will be crowning their series champ!!!

I'll be in indy for that fo sure!

Re: 2008 Imsra Series, Stunt Fest And Stuntwars

That's cool..... I'm a " hear it from the horses mouth" type of guy, and I have actually alot more questions after lookin into it abit more.....

they are definately doin work that's for sure.....

I however actually think that it's the details where the importance lies.... Do you think they posted all that up without goin over some of the topics in the questions I asked first? I mean they have a mission statement... who came up with that?

Are you tellin me this is the Chumita's company?

I'm sure you are right, and all that will be made available soon enough for all the public to see..........
