I had a 96 GSXR750...same problem. Ran great except for 12's. I think that there is no fix for the problem. If you position your carbs where gravity keeps the gas from going down into the motor(12 o'clock), then no gas is going to go into the motor. Fuel injection sprays the gas in so no issue.

AGREED COMPLETELY, it will toast your motor easier, i did write that it is hell on your motor, but you are right, see, my 900rr floods out on the bar, i didnt lean it out too much, im stock exhaust and jets, i just put a k&n air filter on and it was enough to help the situation..it gave it just enough air to keep it going, of course im not doing bar tricks either...

Tip over switch is designed so the FI stops running when on it's side. So 1998 on had the Tip switch, and 1997 and older (carbed) just run out of fuel so they don't need a Tip switch, FWIW.
