Overheating problems wtf

So my 954 is overheating and I'm not sure why. If I'm going over 50 its runs at about 180. If I am going trough town and have to go slower then it jumps up to well over 200. What do I need to look at tomorrow when I go to check it out?

Re: Overheating problems wtf

when i had my 03 600rr one time it got to 232*.. with the fans working i had to pull over in the shade but once i dumped the old coolant and put in new the highest it got after that was 225* with the fan goin. but those bikes run hot i guess.

the 929 i have now usually climbs up to 212 at a looong red light.. but it runs under 200 95% of the time.

has the coolant been changed lately, if so you might have some air trapped in there .

Yeah, Whats "well over 200" 210-230 is ok , 235+ would indicate a possible issue.
I think It would flash "HI" when it overheats ?? Have you seen that
