rotating mass causes inertia.
inertia creates energy, that spins off the end of the wheel.
where ever the energy is pointed ( i.e. where the bars are turned) a forward momentum is created, causing an ease of manipulaition of the machine.
basically it makes a wheelie easier to steer, tighter, wider, depending on how you want.

T-Neck we should just start calling "Doc stunt" I dont think I understood half of that but I'm sure its just basic physics. I'm just not that smart I guess.

grab a bicycle wheel. put a bar through it, get someone to spin it and lean it side to side.

Any pro's out there looking to step it up like The SB's with their dope liter bikes yet? Clean 04 R1, FI cage, Powers Stuntworx sub-frame cage, 520 stunt sprocket set-up, and tons of dress up parts. Too pretty for me turn into my piece.

Tony D also runs ceramic bearings if I remember right.. I have seen Kevin Carmichael spread his pads. He keeps a spreader tool with him at all times. I guess it makes a big difference since they go to the trouble to do it.

A lot of the Brazilian guys do it (spread pads) personally i cba with the ahssle, because if you need to go from wheelie to stoppie to wheelie in a comp you'd look pretty dumb hopping off to spread your pads again.

Think about how dangerous it would be... A squid gets up to power band, pins the throttle, the bike hops up real fast, hits ignition cut off, mouse traps back down, on the way back down, ignition kicks back on, bike shoots back up, hits ignition cut off, and your on your way back down!

i duno doug D did have that thing on his front wheel on his dirtbike like back in the 70's.
