900 rr ???s

i already searched and came up with running a extra quarter quart of oil and keeping the tank full of gas for slower stuff... and for wheelies behind BP do something with a fuel pump and pressure guage? can anybody clarify or explain that to me a little more? and are there any other things i should worry about? its a 96 if that means anything... thanks

yeah, half quart to quart over, full (*** possible) tank for slow stuff...don't know bout fuel pump or pressure gauge, works fine behind bp, until 12 where it dies after few seconds...

Re: 900 rr ???s

some people, such as myself, are taking out the fuel pump completely and just gravity feeding it. the bike still sometimes coughs at 12, but is a little better than before. the problem with the fuel pump is it's not strong enough to pump uphill.

Re: 900 rr ???s

1/2 quart over and you will be fine. I ran mine for 2 years like that and not even a hiccup when it came to oil problems. :YEAH

For the fuel, as someone said, keep that bitch as full as possible all of the time because they like to buck if there isnt enough...I mean FULL!!! I seriously cant stress that enough with this machine!!!

Oh, another good thing to do is cut the kickstand switch out. (ie, wire it so it doesnt work) The springs tend to go (Ive seen 4) and when your up it will make it shut down...until you hit and then the fat bitch starts back up taking you with it!! Just an fyi!!!
