question bout cages
Re: question bout cages
hahahah damn, i thought i was a glamma stunta. if ur talking about the cage gettin scratched, thats what spray paint is for. as for the bike a full cage usually protects most of the plastics, but good drops can get the side of the tail and the side of the upper fairing.
Re: question bout cages
well... if your talkin bout the cage on that 07 gsxr it goes
1: ur shins to the cage
2: the cage to the ground
3: your frame breaks
4: paint the cage and replace the frame
905's are stout cages too bad suzuki stopped making stout frames. 05 was gsxrs last great year. if ur pro status ur bike'll last though.
*bonus points*
6: chrome your cage the bike'll never touch the ground, it'll float on a magical mist of bling

Iv'e got a 905 on a **** box ninja, from my experience learning from nothing, replacement parts to keep on hand mirrors(save them for inspection), rear sets complete or up grade to woodcraft(still in 1 peice), clip ons(broke 1 tring to bend it back) other wise my cage i've liked, bike has flip floped from one side to the other w/no damage. Oh ****! mouse traps will take care of the front fairing and radiator tabs.
Re: question bout cages
^^ wow. not good.
I'd go with a sick inno. after the fall, ur pegs get scuffed up, ur tail, if it rolls hard enough then ur tank, bar ends, loop it hard enough and everything on ur front end will get scratched. ur cage just protects ur motor, really. remove all ur fairings and cut ur clutch and brake levers a couple inches.

I heard this a while back and it holds true... "Show me a rider who hasn't crashed, and I'll show you a rider who hasn't accomplished ANYTHING!"
