Anyone every try a 06 1000rr clutch master for a hand brake? I have one should I even try it?

 

i tried to mount one just to see cuz i had one and i couldnt get it to fit well with my clutch at all, but ive heard about a couple ppl that have used them with good results..

 

I had the same problem.

 

got one on standard 636 bars, with a Werx ez clutch lever its OK. You'll need to get the grinder on the lugs to get the angles perfect . Power and feel of the m/cyl is fine tho.

it's not as good as the 1krr front brake master

 

With a solid attached reservoir it makes it a little trickier to get the clutch on top of the lever.

I liked the 1000rr front brake master, installed it on my friends f4i, was able to get the controls real close together

 

yes getting the clutch lever mounted close to it is tricky but i am rockin one with an msr easy pull and it works better than some of my friends brembos and they are always molesting it while i got the back turned smokin a marlboro

I used them B4 the Brembo.... It works good! as good as the Brembo in my Opinion! You have to grind a lil here & there + sometimes remove the lil wheel that adjusts the clutch lever ( Just adjust it at the Case side ) and it all fits & works very well!! As Good as the Brembo in my opinion!

Edit: Oh Yeah I forgot...It does kinda has to be on an MSR Lever! I dont think it fits or works well aligning wise with Stock Clutch Levers!!

ok I run a front 1000rr on my bike now but I'm setting up another bike and have the 1000rr clutch master and was hoping it will work just wanted to ask around before I wasted my time. I do have a moose clutch lever so hopefully that will work out!

Mine works pretty decent. I actually removed the reservoir and replaced it with the nipple off of a rear master so i could use a moveable reservoir... wow thats a mouthful to say haha.

I had one with a moose on my stock f4i clipons for a bit. I had it bled perfect but just never really liked it

 

don't **** with one....just work on your non HB game....you were the only one

Ive talk to so many people who had NO idea YOU DID NOT use a HB.....thats real gangter ****......HBs are for uncoordinated pussies IMO....And that includes me

 

yeah I still love the old ways but you gotta run with the times now man! Im after big **** not just some respect from riders that aren't even gonna realize I'm not using a puss brake! My last comp I did 14 seatstander circles in my run and a seat stander coaster and no one noticed lol
