im paintin my f4i soon and i am going to do a charcoal/gunmetal color and there are a **** ton of charcoals...just wanted to know what your favorite one was.

i was thinkin about medium slate gray from the 04 vettes, maybe somethin a little darker

 

I painted my bike Anthracite, Its almost black and looks great. I like that Vette color too if I were going silver

 

is it off a specific vehicle?

 

No, I bought it at Bridge Auto Parts. Its a truck / van paint. Its kinda metallic too.

 

oh sweet, hope it comes out well. are you using a paint gun or rattle can?

 

I was thinking about going a champagne metallic like so many Chevy's were during the last ten 15 years. Anybody seen a bike this color? My gixxer is all black now so I think the champagne plastic would look ok.

 

Its rattle can and its been done for 2 months. Almost time to do it again

yeah i think that would looks pretty good too. my parents owned a pewter 99 vette that was like a silver/champagne color...it looked nice

 

I only brought it up because its so close to what you were asking about and I've been thinking it over for like 2 weeks. You plannin on spraying yours with a gun or a can?

 

with a gun, my buddy on here matt (Klos), has a little booth in his garage...he sprayed "lil krazy"s bike and it came out really nice

im painting my R1 2004 saleen mustang charcoal and it looks real good on the car i also suggest blacking out the lights and windscreen as well
