Re: Teach and Bubash
2 things on that idea;
Teach's BMW already looks too much like..... well a BMW
And Bubash has a bike that already looks enough like a yamaha
I can see it now 4 inch raised rear seats, hahha
Also, on a side note, that field has been equal without the sissy bar for a while now jason.

Re: Teach and Bubash
not really! not if you do what teach suggested and hinge it so it folds down in the seat for endos and ****. i am gonna fab one up soon for an f4i i'm buildin'. i got an idea to put a ball bearing and spring in a recessed hole to lock it up and down, the same idea as a rear peg lock, but bigger.

Re: Teach and Bubash
whats the reason behind the rule? i mean if thats a rule than are db bars gonna have stipulations, because some people believe stoppies are easier with them. ??????

Re: Teach and Bubash
apex is this rule for real?
how many riders have been hurt from this? ya i know only a few are running this. but look at teach, hes flipped numerous stoppies and walked away. there are plenty of other things on a bike that could potentially spear you.
the only reason i challenge this is because im actually thinking about taking my 12 bar off and building a pfieffer bar on the back. reason im doing this is because the hole in seat set up is to cramped for my legs!
whack rule!

Re: Teach and Bubash
The rule is not talking about platforms its talking about 12 bars... which get scraped and become razor sharp on the top edge... which is coincidentally the edge that will be chopping you in the back of the neck if its to far out and too tall
