I was wondering if anyone has went from the 05 06 636 to the 07 08, I am thinking of crossing over and just wanted some opinions.

ive heard a lot about weak frames.. although it is a kawi.. hhaha but i guess the 07 08 had some more issues than normal with the frames.. other people will chime in and know more.. buy an f4i hahaha

 

If you dont drop your bike hard you should be ok.

 

I heard about the frame, Just curious about the motor and idle pull mostly.

they should be very similar to the 05 06... thats when they put in dual stage fuel inj right.. i dont think they changed anything since they went to that.. you should have similar pull.. if not a little better.

 

i just swicthed from a 05 to a 07... the pull is fine to me on idle...just as strong as the 05 636... but clutching from stand still is not as good to me as my 06... i got a 60 tooth sprocket on the 07 and the 06 had a 54 tooth .... and it seemed just to have more nuts then the 07... but it could be me getting use to it.... good as you ride... i dont think it would matter if you switched to a motorized big wheel... you would still kick *** partner:YEAH stasis rocks

 

its not a 636 any more stoped makin it its a 600 now but suppose to make same power idk , i herd the torque off the front and mid isnt the same as the 05 06 but idk ask o Kane he rocks one

 

Just give me your 05 so you can switch to the 07.

 

ummm... the 07 isnt a 636 its a 600... and i heard it was gutless in the low end

I think I remember kane saying that even with some gearing it still felt like it lacked some low end power, not sure though. But it looks like he isnt really having a problem riding it really

haha ok then you send me the 05 and ill ride that then buy the 07 from phoenix and ill test ride it and then send it out and tell ya the difference.. hahah
