Re: 12 bars

get a diff bike for stunting. You wont be working on wheelies if your polishing your chrome rims. I used to ride with this guy who would polish his rims when we got to the lot

I dunno what model it is

but its SI for sure, got it in february 07

Actually in that video, the rear cage mount (the all thread) was busted on one side.. So it had no nut on the left side!

After that crash, it just bent the cage a few inches... and I was able to bend it back into shape with a cheater bar, and its just like a brand new cage! :YEAH :YEAH

My friend now rocks it on his f4i, and it looks PERFECT (other then scratches in the paint)

Its lived through 2 people learning, many hard wrecks, and now my friend still rocks it.. Which is why when I get the cash, I'm buying another! :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH

edit: also I never ran the plastic sliders.. So mine could roll onto the bar easier (any cage will roll onto the bars if you wreck like Idid.. but only crappy cages IMO will roll onto the bars if you push it over)

But with the extended plastic sliders on, I hear they are supposed tto have a LOT less of a chance to roll over

if this is your first bike......it's only a matter of time before it is your daily stunt ride.

Re: 12 bars

i stutn crispy *** bikes, always have since day one. i do not believe that you have to have a piece of **** bike to get good or that you have to trash your bike in order to learn things. yah ive had some falls but, i dont go out there just flinging my bike everywhere. i been stunt riidng since november of 05 with an 8 month break in there for training in the army and ive learned alot without ever riding a trashy **** box or wrecking any of my bikes real bad. even now i rarely drop my bike and when i do its usually a light set down on to the cage. if you learn correctly you dont have to launch your bike everywhere trying ****. if u pick up a little 125 dirbike it will be very helpful for you with brake and clutch control. and **** all the dudes that talk **** about stunting a cripsy bike, theyre just mad cuz theyre riding a beat piece.

There is a big difference though

You probably went form a dirt bike to a full sized bike (MAYBE NOT)

But most people cannot learn ona minty bike without at LEAST ******* SOMETHING up..

I"ve scraped every peice of plastic on my bike, got another set of plastics, and scraped every peice of them..

Chances are, if you learn on a mint bike, it wont stay mint..

You talk about stunting a mint bike, yet in your avatar, it looks like your on a street fighter????

I'll agree though, its possible to stunt a mint bike. And its SICK when someone kills a mint bike

but in all reality, someone learning, is gonna trash a mint bike..

especially if they didn't learn brake control on another bike first..

I'm glad I got a $3,500 02 f4i... Sure I coulda wasted $9,000 on a brand new bike (had the cash at the time from my settlement, so I certainly could have got ANY bike I wanted) but no, I settled for a 3500 f4i..
And I'm DAMN happy I did.. I've thrashed every part of this bike, and I'd rather have a $3,500 f4i thats now worth $2,000, then a $9000 bike thats now worht $2000!

Re: 12 bars

it dont matter to me.. im stuntin with this bike and if i crash it up.. ill just buy new parts.. but like some people say.. it would suck to smash up my mint bike.. so my bike i have now will be a medium stunt bike.. and ill eventually get a beat the **** out throw on the ground kick spit on bike some day.

hand brakes are only for when u have mastered foot brake untill then dont worry about em they dont help with anything else. and the 06+ gsxrs dont have problems with oil starvation, its a totally diff engine than the older ones.
