Brembo 16 x 18 Vs. Fullthrottleinc hb

Just a simple comparison that anyone can duplicate and get similiar results. To keep things simple I used a reservoir on the Fullthrottle h.b. You can use it with a reservoir (if you wanted to run it on a dual caliper bracket or through a rear mastercylinder adaptor) or run it as we ship the kit, using the line running from the rear master cylinder as the fluid reservoir with the h.b. running directly to the rear caliper. Anyway, this was just a test I did during development and thought I'd set it up again and film it.

For those who have an outstanding order and are wondering, parts are going out all this week as we just got everything back from anodizing and have been working non-stop to get everything assembled and shipped. I'll try to check the thread from time to time if anyone has any questions.

Thanks.

very informative. it is easy to keep adjusted away from the bar right? cause on the last setting the lever was gettin to close to the bar for the way i like it setup

The distance from the lever to the bar is completely adjustable on the ASV lever

Very informative video, i realy like the concept of this new handbrake.
I just switched to a 2nd caliper setup which i realy like right now, but in the future i might switch to the full trothle setup.

Honestly, I didn't adjust either lever. As recieved, they were both in the middle of their adjustment ranges and seemed pretty parallel to the bar so I just bled each master and hung weight. I wanted to keep this comparison as simple and easy to duplicate as possible so I could be confident that anyone else that tried it they would get the same results. It would have been nice to change the lever setting on the video quality, if only Bud would have been in town for the Dealer Show, I'd have been set.

i've had a lot of people argue that dual calipers are better and all that jazz......here's the way i look at it.....when i book a show overseas, i ride the same bike as i ride here.....a fullthrottle handbrake easily fits in my suitcase and feels the EXACT same as what i run here.......it's the same setup, the more things you can keep the same on a different bike the easier your trips will be.....i have a suitcase with parts ready to go at all times.......kinda like some james bond ****.

That's a good idea if ya got stuff like that goin on where you can't take your whole bike w/ you.

But if ya think about it... if you have a dual caliper bracket, you could have the master w/ the line attached to the caliper on the bracket... already bled and ready to go.

All you'd have to do is take the rear wheel off for a sec, swap brackets then bolt the foot brake caliper on.... no messin w/ fluid, no re-bleeding after a ride etc....
