Ho Hey Designs
I just got the adapter for my hhd dual caliper set up. To put the 4 piston honda caliper on the 636. Wow this thing is the best HB yet. This is your answer to getting rid of the junk Kawi caliper for your HB. I have only rode with it one time but so far i love it.
Thanks George :YEAH

Re: Ho Hey Designs
I have a 16x18 brembo with dual caliper set up and i have to squeeze the hb with 4 fingers as hard as possible for the brakes to lock up, my buddies bikes it only takes them 1 finger to get lock up.
Re: Ho Hey Designs
really!? 4 fingers?? wow, i've seen clapped out gsxr's with leaky 92 katana master cyl. work better then that.

Re: Ho Hey Designs
wow dude, maybe u need some new pads/rotor or something, bled better idk. cuz i just got rid of my 16x18 and i had no problem lockin up my tire and my magura is even easier. i will say that on my rr it took less effort to lock up(almost too easy) idk if hondas use better pads or calipers or something.
Re: Ho Hey Designs
I run the shorty lever provided by brembo??
i put new pads in recently maybe my rotor has had it??
I do know i could use a better bleeding, i use a claped out vaccum bleeder, imma try it ol skool style with a cup hose and pump action from the master...
my hb is super! soft i want it a lil stiffer, like i said hopefully this adapter will be my savior.

Re: Ho Hey Designs
ive always been very successful with bleeding brakes. a couple tips u may or may not be aware of. make sure the caliper is level when bleeding it, i take out the bottom bolt and hold it so its level(bleeder pointing straight up) and stick a flat piece of metal about the thickness of the rotor so it leaves a space big enough to slide it back on the rotor. also when bleeding the master make sure you flip it around so its right side up(bleeder on top) or u can actually just swap the bleeder screw with the banjo bolt/brake line theyre same diameter and thread. i get the majority of the air out of the master just by pumping the brake and letting the air come up through the reservoir. then i put a clear tube over the bleeder screws so i dont make a mess and then pump and hold while i open the bleeder. i also open the bleeder on the caliper and just pump a bunch of fluid through without closing the bleeder, making sure you keep the reservoir full. ride it for a day then do a quick rebleed. hopefully that helps ya.
Re: Ho Hey Designs
i believe that is the correct theory.

Re: Ho Hey Designs
my brembo with single piston caliper worked great on the 636 but Jboogie it sounds like its the shorty lever. i run the standard length. but even though it worked good i still just got the 4 piston and it is the ****. funny but true story hear, i just got it all bled two nights ago and the next mornin wanted to test it. so i go in front of my house and try to clutch it up a couple times but i live on a brick road and it was 30 degrees outside so no traction. i finally got it to spin then grip and it came up real quick which i was expecting. what i wasnt expecting was that i had forgot to turn my idle up and how well the new brake worked
well i mousetrapped the **** outta myself. i dont think ive ever mousetrapped just a seat stander. SO YES HOHEY U HAVE DONE IT AGAIN
Re: Ho Hey Designs
the 4 piston on the rear feels way smoother then the on and off feeling of the 636 caliper. does that make sense to you
Re: Ho Hey Designs
if you are on a f4i i would agree with you. but the 636 calipers suck ***. this solved that problem for me plus i still have a bunch of f4i pads and calipers
