Coming up on close to a year when i was on my death bed due to type 2 diabetes (that i didn't know i had) hell of a life changing experience, stuck with everything tho....

was wondering if any one else has the fun task of making sure you don't have a sugar low mid wheelie or through the hot days

just was thinking about it today... "hmm lets see if any one else got to deal with this **** when out riding"

 

wasn't there symptoms ?

 

2 weeks of pissing like 30 times a night, cotton mouth (which could barley eat) then they figured out i had high blood sugars for the past 2-3 months i had a average blood sugar of like 500-600

type 1- isn't really known for why you get it, some say your born with it others say you get it from some kind of bacteria....

 

i always thought it was from eating too much sugar for years and years

 

that can cause it, but i wasn't even that big on sugary **** like candy etc... i drank pop but didnt live on it

thats one thing i wonder a lot, is why i got it.... but you know i probly will never know

 

some times organs just malfunction for no known reason

 

no sense in sweating the why just take care of your self and check your sugar when your supposed to ...it is a disease that can be managed

 

yea... suppose to be a cure for it in the next 5 years....

 

the people that usually have alot of problems with there diabetes are the people that don't take care of them selfs and don't check there sugar

 

yea like i said im doing great and healthier then i was before... but i figured there had to be some one else out here killing it with me

 

im sure there is , it is a pretty common disease

coming up on my 21st aniversary here..going to the pump shortly, that many yrs of shots is starting to take it's toll

 

Never had a problem on the bike but, I did have a low while driving and that was pretty bad ..

I don't have diabetes, I have the opposite (Reactive Hypoglycemia). Constant low Blood Sugar. When I go to the spot I've got to stop every hour and eat a nab to keep my sugar up or else my throttle hand gets shakey and get a in a generally bad mood.

 

one of my boys has diabetes rwal bad. hes got a little electric pump on his belt hooked into him full time that lets him eat drink and smoke whatever he wants. look into that if yours is bad

 

He's bullshitting you sooooo bad. Diabetics are in no way suppose to drink, smoke , or eat unhealthy..He will be losing eyesight, fingers, toes ,limbs and eventually his life doing that bullshit
