My first show.
My first show.
So over the weekend I got to perform in my first stunt show...it was sick !!
The event was at the 'World of Motorcycle Expo' in London, Ontario. Friday night they had a 'Black and Chrome' that was a special invite only night. It was $65 a ticket that included dinner, an auction, some free drinks and vip for the night. I was also working there all weekend as we set up a booth for Chic Riders. Thanx to Chris at UpOnOne.com for helping us out so much and the wikked banner for our booth.
I had the privelage of performing with Before and After Stunt Team. Considering the amount of space we were given... the show went well and no one got hurt (look at the pics to see the shitty barriers and limited space) The amount of space we had to ride in was a joke.. you can get a good view from some of the pics. The guys couldnt hold a wheelie more than a few seconds without having to bring it down right away. Ive never been so nervous in my entire life, but was pleased with my overall performance. My circles were kinda weak but I pulled off some of the sickest endo's of my life. The barriers they set up were an even bigger joke ! they were about a foot high and basically made out of foil...completely useless and with the right amout of wind you could snap them in half. After one of the bikes flipped over twice and almost took out an old lady.... they put up more barriers... still not much better than what we already had.
All in all it was the best weekend of my life.
Enjoy the pics.

one of the guys left their bikes unattended so we plastered it with pick uponone stickers....and a few extra

this little girl was my biggest fan.... seeing the smile on her face made riding in the show worth ever second...she was priceless

lol
I competed at Clutch Control last year in Philly...that was my first competition. This was my first show being part of the entertainment I guess you could say......instead of a spectator or competitor.

Re: My first show.
Ive never been so nervous in my life..... I wanted to
everywhere..
On saturday we performed 3 times and twice on sunday. By the 2nd show on saturday I was fine and was anxious to ride because I was having the best time of my life after I got over the nervous part.

Re: My first show.
its one of the greatest feelings. After pulling off the sickest endo i think i have ever done...the crowd cheered and it was the best feeling ever... the more they got pumped it helped me and i was able to enjoy it rather than be nervous
Re: My first show.
first show i was ever in i flipped a stoppie over in 1st 5mins. Bike was all F'd up.
I just went to my trailer and stop riding in shame.
worst day ever! Re: My first show.
I was riding extremely hung over during the shows on sunday and had to refrain from doing circles because I was getting too dizzy and almost threw up..........................great influence on the kids...... el o el
Re: My first show.
hahaha. my first time competing I decided to switch into 2nd in the middle of a wheelie already almost at 12 and fell flat on my *** while my bike shot like 6 feet infront of me. I got up laughing in my helmet over the fact i just fell and slid on my *** infront of a shitload of people..... good times
Re: My first show.
cool, good job. Nice to see more girls getting positive exposure as riders and not for just slutting it up posing on the bikes instead of riding them....
And congrat's on getting over the nervs too!! I love riding for people even if it's just spectators in the lot. Aren't we all deep down just a bunch of show-offs anyways??LOL
