Re: how does it look?

looks decent for rattle can.. but i would look into a body shop.. some places will do it really cheap if you do the prep work.. maaco for one... $200 and they look really good if prepped right.

Re: how does it look?

not bad for a rattle can job. but i think a darker shade of blue would be better. like a cobalt.

the prepwork is the hardest part. sprayin it just takes technique. a guy i work with has zero experience and bought all the tools, got a book, and painted his volkswagen and that **** looks alright

No ******* way it looks close to factory paint, LOL. It might look factory from 50 ft, but no chance you got any distinctiveness of image from rattle can paint.

Re: how does it look?

You did a nice job, but rattle can sucks..
If you can do that good with rattle can you can shoot two stage.
If you paint it again in the future do it right and use a gun, its not hard. I realized how easy it is and will never do rattle can again. Someone needs to post up on how to shoot two stage and how much everything costs cause its easy. Like everyone else said it all in the prep. Again nice job.

rattle can is straight 1999.
I can shoot a whole bike including rims with a pint of base which costs around $16. The clear and hardener cost like $40 but its well worth it when you get that gloss/protection.
