Talking Stunt School...

Sounds like a GREAT idea ... I can't remember how much I paid to go the the state instructed class to learn to ride ... I don't think it was quite $350 - but I guess letting someone use a bike to learn to wheelie could do a lot more damage to the bike then letting someone learn to ride at 15 miles per hour in a parking lot - therefore you would have to get the bike fixed - thus having to have the cost of the class a little higher than one would normally expect. Bring it to NH - I need to learn - and would rather not damage my bike - LOL!!! I'd pay the $ - I just can't fly out to Ohio... I'll just have to rely on NHRR to teach me what I want to know ...

Wow just found this post. I think it's an awesome idea about the wheelie school. But I do have to say that I do believe that TrikChik did not mean any harm in her post. In Florida there are so many stunters and we all try to help one another. Everyone is not that fortunate to have that. So it's a great idea to have a school for stuntin' I know that I would of loved to do that about 3 years ago. Thanks to all the florida stunters that have helped me out including Trikchik(we learned from each other). Scott you may have been having a bad day but I will tell you that Trikchik was not trying to cause any animosity with you guys.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Only thing I'd be worried about is making an *** out of myself in front of the Starboyz. Hmmm....it's only an 8 hour drive from here.....anyone wanna buy me a present

StarBoyz Stunt School

Everyone keeps saying that yeah they'll attend but they're worried about looking like an a** in front of the StarBoyz..... I've only been stunting for 1 1/2 years and only tandem stunts. But I think a stunt school is an awesome idea StarBoyz. I was up in OH for your show last year.......enjoyed hanging out with you guys the little bit that I did. And I do know TrikChic and she's cool.....no disrespect meant. Being that I'm pregnant I can relate to the "bad days" or touchy feelings to a new idea.

Glad to hear that if someone wasn't fortunate enough to live in FL that they now have a TRUE school to learn to really stunt. I think that it will help somewhat of the "squid" factor. Each team has their own style too......so just cause you may have learned a wheelie from FL doesn't mean that the StarBoyz couldn't still teach you something better too. Vice Versa.

Keep the peace and ride safe. Glad to hear about the school.

I would love to fly out to Ohio or to wherever you guys are to learn some wheelies and Im sure my crew would be just as interested. Price isnt bad especially when you live in AZ and not a lot of people are too willing to help a newcomer. Look like an idiot in front of the Starboyz? Ill take it any day of the week, Im too new at this to have any pride
and really who cares? You are there to learn and Im sure that they wont laugh at you (well at least I hope not haha). Best of luck and hopefully the boys from tucson will be up soon.

Hey Scott... what about rain out classes? What's gonna be your policy on make ups? BTW, thanks for deciding to do the wheelie school at Thompson also... I don't think it'd be realistic for me to go if it was just at Dragway 42. Had a blast at Stuntfest, you guys are the shizzy.

Can someone confirm whether or not we can use the provided bikes for the level 3 class ???
The website says we must bring our own but I read somewhere that using supplied bikes was possible ??
Its not that I dont want to use my bike, but I would rather fly in from Ottawa as I can get good airfare deals.
Cheers

Lol, I hear ya man i would love to take my bike downthere but...
1. Its a 10 hour drive / ride....no way I am riding the same bike I am stunting.
2. I dont have a trailer
3. By the time I add the expenses up it would be cheaper to fly.

Which is why I was asking about using the supplied bikes.
The only stunt I would want to work in is the 12 oclock as it is just kicking my *** up here !!!!
Cheers

I am up in Ottawa, we have a decent bike scene up here but they all think the 12 bar is nutz !!! We are definitely behind in a big way. Its pretty funny though as the cops have no clue what the hell these bars are on my bike.

I can be in the US (New York State) in less than an hour.
Where u at ??
Cheers
