finally got second, clutch life??????

I can clutch up second gear wheelies no prob now and ride them out about 3x longer then first, but still nowheres near my 1/4 mile goal.

quick question..... it doesnt really slip that long just a quick slip then up... have any of you stunters had to replace clutches? if so how often?

people say to bounce it up but i just cant get it down. clutching seems so much easier

CLUTCH IT

I ALWAYS CLUTCH IT UP. SITTING STANDING, ON THE GAS TANK, AND OVER THE WINDSHIELD. I ONLY GO THROUGH ABOUT TWO CLUTCHES A YEAR. SO ABOUT 120.OO AND 2 HOURS OF MY TIME ALL SUMMER. THAT AIN'T TO BAD.

I have 20k on my stock clutch. I clutch up everything, and my bike is a tank. Clutch is still workin fine.

IVE GOT 12,900 ON MY CLUTCH AND ITS FINE. BESIDES THEY ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE . THE SLIP YOU MIGHT BE FEELING IS YOUR TIRE BREAKING LOOSE FOR A SECOND. IF THE WEATHER IS ANYTHING LIKE IT IS IN WISCONSIN IT TAKES ALOT FOR THE TIRE TO HEAT UP SO IT WONT DO THAT.
