little cracks in your gas tank

I don’t know if this has been mentioned or not so I’ll just put it up anyway, got a new tip on the best way to seal little cracks in your gas tank . Use NAIL POLISH will hold forever and will never leak. For bigger cracks when you use JB weld just overcoat it with NAIL POLISH it will stop the JB weld from eventually leaking it will never leak again in that spot. Big holes still get the **** welded.

Nail polish cant be dissolved from anything but nail polish remover so it is unaffected by gas you might want to use a few coats but the **** will never leak….

Is this just speculation or has anyone tried it. It's not so much the gas eating through.. it's the pressure from the tank that finds the weak spot and blows a hole through it.

The guy I got this info from he said he uses it on everything he said he has used it on his race car gas tank and it has never leaked , any way what’s the difference nothing else works so why not try it ? I guess I’ll be the first because I used it on mine so I guess I’ll let you know in the future.
