well, best thing we could come up with is get it running, cut the ski's off, put wheel's on it.

my homeboy got a free kawi X2 and i had a 636 motor laying around, so we did what any logical un-employed people would do and starting installing it into the jet-ski. its still in the works because we still havent found the gear box that we need to change the drive direction, but everything else is ready to go. hopefully we will get it figured out for summer.

but ya that X2 is going to be a ******* pain in the *** to get running with a 636 motor in it. We built 2 of them last summer with kawi SX750 motor's in them and that was ridiculous, they barley float with the hood mod's done on them. And that motor is almost a direct bolt in, with minor mod's. I cannot imagine that 636 motor working or even fitting but i deff would wanna see it done!!!

 

did you put it in sideways or use a gearbox? we already have it running just cant figure how to get the drive to work because we have the motor in facing forward.

the motor we put in was out of a SX750 jet ski. It's basicly what came stock in the x2's just 100cc's more, and it was a ******* pain in the ***. your going to have crazy problems. Overheating esspecially, it would take me hours just to explain the process of swapping out motor for an X2... there totally different then a normal stand up or a normal sitdown jetski... id recomend www.x-h20.com it's basicly stuntlife, for freestyle jetskiing... without drauma. and people dont jack thread's like ********
