What should I put on my F4i?
What should I put on my F4i?
I own a 2001 F4i and want to start getting into stunting and am unsure on what I should get for it. Im looking at a GSP sprocket set of either 15/50 or 15/55. I want to still use the bike for normal riding and dont know which would be better. I have a Two Brothers slip-on, and am looking at a Power Commander, but would it really be worth it? I also live at 5000 ft for half the year, and 700 the rest, so would the PC help with the altitude changes, cuase I get robbed of power when Im at 5000 ft. What other add-ons would be the best for a beginner stunter that really wants to get into the sport?
Re: What should I put on my F4i?
cage... thats it. you dont need a bar, or gearing, or a REAR HAND BRAKE, or dirtbike bars.
waht you can do s take off your nice plastics. buy up some rached platics. and then when you can control your **** you can put the good plastics back on.

Re: What should I put on my F4i?
Geared Steel sprockets stock then plus 10-15
Sick Innovations cage/subcage/bar S/I saved my bike from certain death
stock exhaust, air filter and no P/C it doesn't help in any way

Re: What should I put on my F4i?
When learning the wheelies, is it easyer to learn the balance point while sitting or standing? im getting close by sitting and im a tall guy so standing is kinda awkward for me and i havent worked on it much... plus, is it even possible to flip this bike with stock gearing....i have to romp on the trottle to get it to come up far enough as it is...i think i would have to try to get it to go over with my *** on there...

once your at balance point, it only takes a little thrhottle to bring it right over
I think staggard is the easiest for learning, put your left foot on the passenger peg, with your right foot on the front peg covering the brake..
Its awkward at first, but after about 20-30 wheelies you'll get used to it and it will become much easier then a sit down
Re: What should I put on my F4i?
so i took this summer to do the stunting and got good at wheelies with stock gearing. I ended up crashing while in a Christ and broke both my legs and all of the bike. Im re-building it and already have vortex front and rear sprockets (-1/+10) and subframe cage. Im getting a SI frame cage and 12 bar and i dont have any plastic to damage, so i guess i dont have to worry bout those... Thanks everyone for your advice.
