Re: Stunt riding and AMA??

Aren't all the AMA events races? I think it would be difficult to get them to bite on a judged event. Judged events have to much room for error and favoritism, just my 2 cents.

Re: Stunt riding and AMA??

yea but I mean do you really want the AMA involved...?

I roadrace on the club level and are close with some AMA Pro and AM riders and they hate all the politics and bullshit with the current AMA.
Im not going to get into details because I dont know the whole deal well enough but the general consensous of all the AMA roadracers is they hate the way the AMA runs things. they are all about the money they are going to make and not about the sport, or the riders, or the fans.
so for now its probably better off with out AMA involved.

Re: Stunt riding and AMA??

do i want ama involved?????? a motorcycle "sport" is truly recognized as a sport/division when it's got the ama brand on it......at least that's the way i look at it......

Re: Stunt riding and AMA??

since im tired of going into long explanations and reasonings publicly, just to have those reasonings misused by other "organizers" who couldnt reason thier way out of a beatdown by a nun (I mean if you cant reason with a nun, who can you reason with?)

I will just say this.. AMA = No benefit for us

I know what it takes and I personal know some people high up at the AMA and dont think it is worth it at this point. To many things need to come before this for AMA to recognize it and or be beneficial
