You will more than likey pinch a hole in the overflow tube that runs through the tank but u just gotta seal it off at the uderside of the tank. Be sure to work the folds in the metal that run striaght back and focus more behind the cap than in front....and im sure you already know to LEAVE THE CAP ON when hammering. Pull it off and it'll look like this.

sorry, the bike is outside right now, its got some condensation on it that blurred the pic.
