in response to all the wsra bs

There is already something in the works. Something by the riders for the riders. So everyone sit back and please don't buy into any BS from non participating individuals who see a buck behind our hard work. Predetermined amount of members means one of two things. WSRA selling our *** to sponsors and getting a small piece of it. Or Selling ourselves our own *** by having memberships that pay like a pyramid scheme. Just by having 4 founders (and I know none of them) and a name coined with "World" not national shows its doomed to be retarded.

Plus and most importantly, professionals riders wouldn't be part of an open invite members club...

The names behind it

Not one real freestyle rider, if a rider at all, in the bunch. Not one person has done anything that I've heard of to date with the exception of Jodie Smith if its the same woman. Her being a stuntwars organizer. And we all know how well the community feels about SW business tactics.

My mother and my dads friend who owns a vintage Honda blackbird may as well be wsra.....

Re: in response to all the wsra bs

I've met Dennis a few times at different events around the country over the last 3 years, ie- stunt comps, bike shows, and ims shows. He is a pretty cool guys that has been involved with some cool things in other parts of the bike industry. I have dealt with one other name on the list and we butted heads pretty good, and I dont know anything about the other two people involved. Although I think I might have met them at Stuntwars.

Re: in response to all the wsra bs

Nah. Nick and the rest have got the organization this sport needs in the works. And I'll have an easier time convincing sponsors this is a pro sport because of their efforts.

Maybe if everyone who holds a comp adopts the same rules and points system, based on the riders preference (based on a vote from the pro riders would be fair) you can have a cooperative sanctioning body kind of spontaneously generate out of what the riders want. just a thought.

Wait wait wait....

T-neck said Florida stunters are visual better and that you can tell they are from Florida cause they get more seat time due to weather?

I can agree with they get more seat time and they are for the most part better at stoppies and coasters but when it comes to the gangster combo madness, the west coast is the originators and visually better riders.

*as for coasters and endoes there are some west coast guys who can rival some of the east coast guys.

i know this is way off topic but that actually kinda erked me reading that...

**well i guess it doesnt matter where your from, if your good...your good, and seat time will only make a good rider better but the truth is some riders reach a plateu and thats that. then there are your good riders who continually progress.**

okay i feel better now...yeah nicks parents stunt blackbirds in WA in the rainy season.... you non stunting capitolize off stunter evil do-ers.

to nick for bringing up good valid points

They should not let some people write articles. You know how it is some people just get big heads when infront of cameras or news people it makes them feel important. i just ride to have fun and comps have never been fun mostly because it is a who has a bigger name or who is up everyones ***. shows on the other hand are a blast. i guess i am lucky because i am not banking on this ever becoming a real sport. it will always just be a circus sideshow. And most of the people in florida are not better. Most of them will only ride if there is a event or cameras or out of town people here. Like i said before its all about the big head

Re: in response to all the wsra bs

I agree that a lot of people shouldnt just compete just cause there is a camera but I do not agree with the organization. There needs to be one that is only about the sport and its riders not some people who stand around and wanna make a dollar off of it. But at the same time the sport isnt going to grow and isnt going to make its self bigger with out investors comming in to help the sport grow you JUST NEED THE RIGHT INVESTORS!!!

Re: in response to all the wsra bs

There is still so much infrastructure that is needed before an investor could come in and do us any good. Its happening, and its close, but even after we build what's needed it will take a lot of time for it to come around.
