1000rr forks into a 954...
Re: 1000rr forks into a 954...
Not true.... I've only heard that from one person... D. And that could be because his particular forks had scratches or gouges... that's the only thing that will blow seals on the regular... that and strapping the bike down too tight.
I have a full 07' 1000rr fork setup on BOTH my bikes and the 320mm rotors are SICK enough as is... super smooth and I wouldn't want any more braking power than the 19/18 brembo master I'm runnin.
As for the shorter fork issue that everyone's scared of.... all you need to do is drop the forks down a bit in the triples and you've got the same dimensions.
I'm not sure how easy that is w/ stock top triple... but w/ the Ho Hey Designs billet triple it's cake and makes the clipons MUCH more comfortable being ON TOP.

Yea, I meant D too. Although I'm pretty sure he's blown them on more than one pair of forks.
He just blew another set at SW after like 20 mins of riding.

How are you mounting them on the F4i? Clipons on top? Under? Upside down? Or what? Just curious..
I just reread that.. I guess you're running the hohey triple. I have a front end here and that'd be a sick setup but I really need the cash

Idk... I've mousetrapped pretty dam hard on a couple occasions and mine are holdin up golden.
It really is a killer setup, if you can get the parts go for it.
I just can't wait for the weather to warm up, up here in New England.... I've only been able to pop up from the top of 1st...
The real test is gonna be yankin up some fast scary ones...
