Well, I've used each set up by Full Throttle and they all have no different feel than a GP Tech...using a 1000rr master...

The HOHey is much more powerful and I would actually get it but $$$ my 35 dollar gp tech adaptor has been perfect for 2 1/2 years.

I wouldn't think it would...

on my 50, i've been running the same hand brake cable for over 18 months..

And on the 50, I constantly ride the brakes, and I pull on that brake lever with ALL my might...

Especially cause my brakes suck on it, so I always gotta mash it HARD

ever busted a master cylinder? IF not, then ya hteres no problems...

but one good drop, break a 16x18 brembo and your out $200..

with this setup, you wont break your master, at worst you'll break your perch and lever, which run $15 at MOST for both.. $10 or less if you look hard enough

Only question is, how it compares to a fully hydro setup

ok.... 2 things I am observing here....

1. You're on a motard... very different than streetbike. If you look on FTI.net bill makes a completely different one for streetbikes.... just for that issue.

2. Rolling down the driveway on 2 wheels and locking the rear tire is absolutely no indicator of how good a handbrake is going to perform for people who actually know how to use them. sorry!

THATS EXACTLY MY POINT i didnt even get to test it good enough plus it was wet! my point was the cop fucked it up for my test run with this.. i mean of course its not gonna be the exact same as the streetbike but its the same style setup! if its shitty on a motard then its not gonna be better than a brembo with the streetbike one on a streetbike

Apples and Oranges my friend

Motard apps are COMPLETELY different... just look at the weight/power differences. A full cable actuated hb could potentially have decent power on motard.... this is rediculous.

Do you even know what the difference is between Bills Motard version vs. the Streetbike version??? If so... please explain.

This is completely ******* USELESS feedback for streetbike riders once again....

HOLY ****.... can we get SOMEONE w/ some decent skills to try this god damn thing out!?!?!?!?!?

DOES IT EVEN REALLY EXIST?????

don't mind me... i'm But I still make valid points

on edit: my appologies... i just realized you're only 16.

SO ur saying if its shitty on the motard theres a chance its good on the streetbike!? im not sure of the difference CAN YOU TELL ME?

and the skill thing was totally uncalled for dude seriously but its all cool its hard to really show how well u ride wen ur the ONLY ONE on this island that stunts seriously and theres barely anyone to film/take pics im a mellow dude and i dont let that **** with people dissing on me get under my skin

REVIEW ON THE BRAKE "ON A MOTARD"

at first it was really unpredictable
it would lock up totally at first. which i found there was a binding in the cable linkage. after a 10 min ride i came back not to stoked on the performance. really spongey so i realeased the bleeder valve to get rid of a bit of air between the caliper to the master setup. it feels real solid and it stops decently. but i lost a lot of power from teh foot pedal bill told me to call him tomorrow and i will go over it with him and he can maybe point me to get the perfect setup. all in all so far i rate it a 7/10

also i pulled a seat stander brought it to balance point hit the brake and nothing much it just like slowed down, not really bringing it back i started falligng back so i pulled the clutch in and it came right back EDIT: i had the lever on the lowest setting that bill made on the master... its kinda not able too much to fight the engine brake so ill go over this with bill tomorrow EDIT: changed settiing brakes way harder

No no.. you miss my point.

There's 2 different versions of Bills new HB.... one for motard apps (that's obviously gonna be less potent), and the one for the streetbikes. SO the motard one is not gonna tells us poop.

I wasn't really callin out your skill in particular... just saying in general.... we need someone ON A BIG BIKE... who knows alot about what their doing w/ a hb to come on here and lay it all out.

Now if you said: "So i ripped about 10 ss circles in my driveway b4 I hit the street" then your opinion on the setup would be a lil more credible.... but still wouldn't satisfiy anybody on a big bike.

Re: New Fullthrottle Hand Brake

why isnt the hydraulic unit closer to the rear of the bike? having shorter hydraulic lines could bring the price of this unit down

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A STREET BIKE REVIEW DONT READ THIS ACCORDING TO KJ IT WONT DO YOU ANY GOOD BEING ITS ON A MOTARD

ON A MOTARD!

Ok took it out for a good ride today. helped alot in combos very trust worthy. today i tried a flamingo jump to special K and put all my trust in that brake and it is great! work great in stalls also one mroe problem just the lever that came with it sticks out far! so im gonna change that... other than that i am stoked with thye product and it is worth the money.
