Stunting And Music
Re: Stunting And Music
i got a mate who just brings his car to the spot, he has a 2000w amp and two 15 inch subs, no need for headphones, i can easily hear the music over my bike hahahahahahha
Re: Stunting And Music
Thats a really good idea but we have a lot of spots close to houses and that will definitly get us run out. And its nice to have music on the ride to the spot or on canyone days or just cruising.
Re: Stunting And Music
i like the skull candy i think there comfortable never seen sony ear wrap only thing that i didnt like about skull candy is they work as ear plugs so you barely can hear whats goin on around you
You can go to radio shack, they have a few different wireless headphones, i got the smallest ones ($60.00), they are a wrap around but I just chopped that off and mounted the speakers in my helmet. Very nice since there are no wires, you can take your helmet off and not worry about wires, and just keep the ipod in pocket.
Re: Stunting And Music
I dont believe in Cali there is an actuall law stating that you "can not" have ear phones on. But, I wouldnt be surprised if something were to happen, and the other party invloved complained that you were wearing ear phones and tried using that against you. I got pulled over like 2 months ago, the cops jumped outta there car even b4 I could take my helmet off and they didnt say **** about me having ear phones on, and they were looking for anything to bust me with?????
eh, so I was wrong...
2. All of the following practices are dangerous to do while driving. Which of these is also illegal?
Listening to music through headphones that cover both ears
Adjusting your outside mirrors.
Transporting an unrestrained animal inside the vehicle.

Re: Stunting And Music
in nevada you can have both headphones in BUT in cali you can only have one in. But when i ride in reno and in cali i always have both in, feel awkward with only 1 in.

Re: Stunting And Music
The speakers are $150 Sony MDR-v700s. They are basically the best drivers for handling amazing amounts of volume without distortion. I've DJ'd on sound systems over 250k watts, and these had no problem with my near field monitors. Basically they can handle lots of power for headphones.
The music source is the Sony Network Walkman. Holds 1Gb. It's about the size of a normal bic lighter.
God where to begin... Ok, first of all, it can be eniterly controlled with the left hand. You twist the silver **** to change tracks. Just in front of that **** is a large play/stop button that you can feel even with gloves on. And best of all... the volumes are all programmable. So I set the "low" so that I can still hear people talk to me at lights... the "medium" so that I can hear traffic around me in the city, and "high" for highway riding. You can still hear the music clearly at over speed limit speeds. It can also be setup so that you go thru the 31 volume adjustments manually.
I press above the silver dial for volume up, and below the dial for volume down.
It's attached hook and loop, so when it starts raining, I can easily take it off 1 handed and put it in a pocket, and reattach while still riding after the weather passes.
The neoprene is nice to keep it weather resistant too.
I've put this system into 3 of my friends helmets, and they all love it. And best of all... in Colorado, it's completely LEGAL. Earbuds are against the law, but helmet mounted systems are legit.
The drivers are recessed behind the normal ear cavity area, and not only do not touch my ears, but they are not noise canceling either, so I can still hear what's going on around me.
Only downfall, is it costs about 300 bucks to make this setup. But well worth the cash imo.
