F4I riders

Need some help . I went to look at an f4i today it has a little oil leak where the screw goes in indicated in blue I’m sure this is just a gasket needs to be replaced ?
The big question is the motor mount indicated in red , obviously you cant see the mount but if you ride a F4I you know what I am talking about. It has hairline cracks or that’s what they look like where the motor and the mount come together they are all one piece. So I called a dealer to ask him if this was normal and he said it could be that way from the manufacture because it is not cast aluminum and there are flaws that could appear to be cracks. Has anyone looked at there F4I and noticed this or is the bike junk ?

Re: F4I riders

I just looked at mine under bright light, and I got the cracks also

I think its just a defect in the casting

Its just like you said, where the motormount tab connets to the motor itself, has what looks like about 10 cracks

And on the leaking cover, it just uses gasket sealer from the factory.. So you can pop it off and gasket seal it

And if you have a welder, while that cover is off, weld the clutch arm 1/2" longer and NO MORE! It makes the clutch pull butter, just did mine

Sick innovations for the win!

They are strong as hell, and you can drag peg with them in the turns
