Re: Have you guys seen this yet?Pretty sweet!

how easy is it going to be to pull??

and is it going to feel more like a clutch lever then a brake lever??

i wouldn't say i'm ballin like that, just been looking around for a handbrake, and guess i had good timing.

should have it installed by this weekend, so i'll see how it works out.
although i won't be able to provide any comparison feedback, as this will be my first handbrake.

just tell us how easy or how much you have to pull on it to get the wheel to lock up,maybe tell us if it is as easy to install and bleed as it looks!!!

Re: Have you guys seen this yet?Pretty sweet!

that is a genius design, i hate being limited to where i can place my handbrake and clutch levers because of how bulky of the hydraulic masters are. not to mention there are tons of more comfortable clutch perches/levers that you can now use (im guessing).

looks neat, I think Id prefer the feel of hydraulics vs. cable activation though. And who's talking about limited placement? (I have stubby fingers, see...

+1

I've never used one, so I really don't know how it would feel..

But I'd imagine there would be play in it, sorta like a cable operated hand brake on ANYTHING (like a 50, or 150..)

Would definitely be cool if it was as responsive as a regular hand brake, but I just can't see how it could be

but at $300 I probably will never know.. I couild get 5 radials at that price!

im pretty from the looks of it, it works just like a conventional hydraulic master except for the fact that there is a cable moving the piston not a lever.

Re: Have you guys seen this yet?Pretty sweet!

I just got mine in the mail today. It has 4 settings on it, so you can set up the sensitivity according to your riding style. I also like the design a lot more than the previous set-up because with this new design there will be no pumping the lever when coming off the foot brake pedal. From what I can see this will be the handbrake of choice for Top competitors. It also will clean up the handle bars a lot. Looks like a Top notch piece. I'll post up when I get to try it!

thats my question... wonder if you can just run a bolt as a plug to the one that would go to the rear master

The cable is so short, I doubt you would feel hardly any play. My guess would be that it feels very similiar to a regular master. We'll see!

I doubt it, the only fluid in this master is being used in the system. There is no resevoir.
