that is to tie the subframe to the cage so that it takes stress off of the frame tabs and eliminates the chance of breaking the frame tabs. we have built quite a few cage/subframe combos for guys just learning rear brake. or for people that just scrape a lot or do bar tricks.

thanks man, we are working on getting subframes for more bikes,we are having to get a bigger shop to keep up with the demand for subframes and custom sprockets.

Why does everyone only use steel? I think subframes should really be made out of aluminum....

subframes start at $350 plus shipping, they wouldnt be that cheap if they were made from aluminum. the cost of aluminum is insane.

Steel is obviously stronger then aluminum, but it also weighs sometimes more then double....Thats why I dont make my stunt stays out of steel, they dont need to be that strong and they would be too heavy...

$350 for a steel subframe hummm, would anyone be interested in aluminum ones for the same price?
