What's up with scrapeworks site?

What's goin on with the site... I was gonna print a couple of pics of their subframe and ask this older guy that wants to fish our ponds(and happens to be a master welder) if that was what he was thinking when he said he'd just make a new one out of steel tubing for me instead, when all I asked him was... how much to weld up the already cut plate to my gixxer subframe..... lol
Anyways... this is what was on the site... what does it mean?

sounds like they for got to pay their bill, or they closed. there is another thread on here saying that their number is disconnected also. I guess if you need a subframe, just PM me, been building them for a while.

Re: What's up with scrapeworks site?

OH.... maybe they need to sell more subframes....ergo bring down that rediculous sticker price!!

I think that I remember yours being sort of expensive too. did we already PM about your sub's? Sorry, I'm a poor married with children man....lol

anyways... this old retired guy that still works mainly just certifying peoples welds is offering (if I'm not mistaken) to build me one just for letting him fish our ponds out here on my property!!! ****... I can't pass up that deal... I was mainly just looking for some pics to copy a lil, or at least give him an example to go off...

Give him your old subframe and say "make that, but in steel".

LOL

Yea, I think that's a good idea, but I don't want him pounding something out like a suit of midevil armor either...
I think that a visual reference is the best thing so that we don't lose anything in the translation and I waste money in material, he wastes his time, and I got some retarded old fart leaving ruts in the sod and hayfields trying to drive down to the ponds all spring and summer.

This is probably what would happen anyways... I would have him build something for me. It would break the first time I crash good, and then I'd take it to Andy Clem and he'd beef it up and do it up right for me. Maybe I should just skip the crap in the middle and take it to Andy in the first place?

Yep, I'll just have Andy weld up the plating and beef up the stock one.... problem solved.....thanks for the info on scrapeworks I found that to be interesting.
I'm done.
