db bars

Is anyone Rollin a GSXR anymore ? I want to put DB bars on my **** but I don’t know what to do with the wire harness the bike wont run if I disconnect the Speedo does anyone have pics of how and what yours looks like? Mine is a 2000 750 right now I got my **** zip tied to the top of the triple

im sure there is a way to bypass it or something... or you could always sell it and get a honda...lol

just keep the gauges with the DB bars

I rock gauges with my db bars, always have and always will... Nice to know whats going on with my oil and temp

I can't believe your **** doesn't run without the speedo. I had a 600 for 3 years and I don't remember having that problem. Then again, i don't really ever know if I didn't have a speedo. Have you checked with a dealer at all? That just seems weird. Good luck, you'll need it with that problematic GSXR.

Could you post up some pics of your **** ? How did you mount the Speedo on the DB bars , this dam GSXR has so much **** in the way

GSXR a great bike, I had an 02'. I've seen a few people zip tie it to one of the openings in the lft or rt.side fairing.
If you get DB bars you really should have more room to zip tie it some where.
Or have someone fab you up a mounting bracket.
Not mine but 1st pic he has it mounted on some expensive lights. 2nd pic have no idea almost looks unplugged.

I run mine with no gauges, you just have to have everything else hooked up.

Dude thanks for the pics now I am really going to try and find out a little more both of those bike look killer. not a big fan of those chrome headlights but the bike looks cool. if you can find any more pics or if anyone else has any more info that would be great . Thanks for all your help

Ok im going to order some DB bars but now how do I determine what kind to get ? And what do I need to get , because I would like to order the **** off Ebay. Instead of paying full price….. any help with this info would be great .

HAI is great to work with and they take paypal and give you an actual reciept. I wouldn't suggest e-bay, but that's just me.

I think he's saying, it should run without the gauges. Not run it without guages.

I don’t know what to do, order it from HAI ?

The only thing is I can get the bars for 20.00 bucks and the risers for 20.00, grips are 12.00 so why the hell is that kit 184.99 I don’t get it. what the **** ? Wont my Brake lines work ?
