Hi all, happy new year. I was just wondering how old is to old to stunt?

I have been playing in the lots now for a few months. It seems like everytime I come back something hurts. I spent 3 weeks limping around after killing my right ankle then another week on my left ankle. RSI in my hand from clutching it up all the time. Now my legs are hurting after 30 mins practicing staggered pow wows. My Dad reckons I am too old for this **** at 37, but god loves a tryer.

oh and the exact age that is too old is when OMR decides to give up. Probably around 87.

the only time im not in pain is when im riding.

 

I dont think its really an age, more like how many injuries youve suffered.

Sounds like your just not in good shape, hit the gym and stretch! Im almost 32 and I only feel old when I wonder if Im to old. Get out and ride

LOL Ciaran. Thanx for replies guys. My New Years resolution then, go to the gym. I will join the masses and work off the turkey ;-)

 

3 to 4 days a week at the gym and my back still gets really sore. I'm turnin 36 in a month. Every time I get on the bike the pain goes away (at least till i'm done riding)

 

I hit the gym a few days a week and ride the other days and i feel great.
only time i slow up is after a fall,i think thats the same for every age.

 

im 31 and can keep up with people 10 years younger than me,,, gota stay in shape in keep your mind young. your never to old!!!!!!!!!

paw paw is in his 40's but i think he quit riding ,not sure about this

ac farius is one of the worlds best riders and he is in his 40's

i will be 40 in a few months and don't mean to lump myself in with these riders except that im in there age group..

i don't go to the gym but i do strecth before i ride and i ride alot as long as i stretch before i ride i feel fine the next day but if i don't stretch i pay the next day..lol

36 in a few days... watched AC nearly win the Euro champs (he came second) at 43 years.... kinda made me think that age means fuckall - Troy Bayliss winning WSB at 38 etc...

I guess there comes a time when you have to work harder for the same benifit as a younger man but if you are focused and determined i mean what does it matter, when your helmet is on we are all 22years old!!!!!???!!!

I feel old when im inbetween rides but when im stuntin the bike takes me away from all that ****... i really just love to ride.

When my bike works that is!

 

Also AC is one of the fastest moving riders in the world still! at 43 WWWHHHATTT!
