600RR front end.. how good are they?

yo whatsup guys im setting up my new F4i and was thinking of throwing in a 05 600rr front end. is it much better than the stock f4i front end?
and how do they compare to the 929/954 front ends?

Re: 600RR front end.. how good are they?

why are you bothering??? you dont even do stoppies. i really dont get why sooo many ppl buy these bikes and change the front end when they cant stoppie more than 5mtrs or so. I have seen guys killing stoppies on stock f4i front ends. just put different springs, heavier fluid e.t.c if you want to make em stiffer.

hells yea, the f4i stock front end sucks nuts. def. get a 600rr front end. i don't know how it compares but this is the common swap out for f4i. 600rr/929/954 i would get whats cheap but i'm a broke ****. you don't NEED to swap the front end. but if you got the $$$ swap it out

Re: 600RR front end.. how good are they?

i've rode f4i and 6rr

6rr feels like a real bike

f4i feels like ur forkstubes are broomsticks, junk!

but then again i'm on a r6 with a baller front end so alot of **** feels like junk to me.

Re: 600RR front end.. how good are they?

ive ridden lots of bikes and f4i forks are definitely crap. i hate my forks.
but really if you cant stoppie more than 20 feet what good will swapping them out do? you can get 929 forks, db bars, 500 dollar steering dampner, and still suck at stoppies. its like being a weakling and thinking better gloves will help you bench more.

+1, my friend that stunts an f4i switched them for a gsxr 750 front end. stock are junk. i have an 03 600rr, im planning on putting stiffer springs in rather than change to the 05-06 which are much better. mainly cause im a broke college student. if you got the money build a badass bike.

and t-roy, you ride an R6, you wouldnt know if junk came up and punched you in the nuts....
