Gixxer tail question

I've got an 06 750 and I'm looking to buy a race tail for it since the 3 piece is not very stable (my left side piece popped off doing foot on seat tonight, thus making me decide to stop procrastinating and buy a race tail) and I was wondering if any one happens to know if the "race" and "supersport" tails are different in design or simply the same tail but worded different. I saw some differance in the two although it may have just been for a different year, some of the sites i looked at werent very clear on what year they were for.

I was looking at some of the 05 tails which are what id like although I'm fairly positive that the subs are completely different between the two years, any conformation on if it would fit or not? Id even settle for an 06 1000 tail but again the im pretty sure that the subs on those are different too.

Thanks for any help, I spent a while looking online at a few and figured that i needed to get some solid answers before i put anymore effort into trying to find one.

Yes i know gxrs arent great for stunting thanks to the aluminum foil subframes but its what i had , so its what i ride

email me pics jstuntlocke@yahoo.com and the bottom line also...please

I would be very interested in getting one of those if they are pimp as scrapeworks(without their gay scrape bar and price tag) and the stock plastics will mount back up without any issues and is the trunk still operational??
How about a 905 scrape bar or a round bar, will they mount up with no issues??? Please let me know at you earliest conveinience.

And for the guy who posted the thread.... just zip tie that **** where the mounting tabs are because you will invariably pull the screw heads through if you didn't bust the tabs off..... at least that has ben my experience so far. ebay is the way to go tho for **** for our bikes....

Oh and you can mount up your 905 scrape bar to it - I did it with mine with no issues.

Re: Gixxer tail question

that cable is for the exhaust butterfly valve...since the subframe pics, u can see i put on a two bros exhaust and completly removed the valve and wiring and cables and servo motor...does nuthing but quiet the bike down and get it warmed up quicker..my bike is obnoxiously loud....basically sounds like a straight pipe without the raspiness of a straightpipe
