Guido is a derogatory ethnic slur term for a stereotypical young working-class Italian-American male from the Northeastern United States. The classic guido is often portrayed as humorously and incorrigibly uncultured, with a macho attitude towards women and homosexuals, a prejudice against nonwhites, and an unyielding pride in his Italian ancestry. The term is likely derived from the Italian proper name Guido, and is used and recognized particularly around New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Providence and Boston, due to the large Italian-American populations of these regions.
In terms of fashion, guido trademarks include wifebeaters, gold chains, slicked-back or all-spiked hair, and, for the more well-to-do guido, brand-name clothes such as Adidas and Armani Exchange. Appearances mean a great deal to the stereotypical guido: working out and getting buff is very important, and increasingly, wealthy guidos enjoy dressing stylishly in expensive suits and shoes. In this respect, the modern-day guido shares some of the traits and tendencies of metrosexuals. Nevertheless, a certain degree of machismo is also an important characteristic, as epitomized by such popularized guido expressions as "how you doin'?" and "fuhggetaboudit".
Women closely associated with guidos (guidettes) are frequently depicted as similarly superficial and uncultured, with lives revolving around their appearance. Stereotypical guidette activities include tanning, getting hair and nails done, and of course shopping.
American popular culture has continuously used the derogatory stereotype "guido" in such films as Goodfellas, Angie, and My Cousin Vinny, and in television series like HBO's The Sopranos, A&E's Growing Up Gotti, and E!'s The Gastineau Girls.

speak for yourself toronto is ****** filled with them.. brown guido wannabes and the odd italian guido.. go to wonderland in the summer and you'll soon find yourself walking past guido hill where you'll see like 60 guidos

i dont think posting your number comes with the same consequences that it used to. when bibo/kelm (cant remember which one) posted their number the people on here were a lot harsher then the present day stuntlifers
