i'm wanting to stunt out my bike and dent my stank. does anybody know if you can use a earlier model cbr gas tank on a '04 cbr 600rr, instead of the plastic shell?

 

no other tank would fit on a 600rr other than a 600rr. the airbox sits up too high. and f4i tanks dont even mount the same.

 

just take off the plastic, dent in the metal, put the plastic back on and melt, the plastic down with a heat gun,,, make sure you mold to the gas cap though... sounds alot harder than it is.... its actually pretty simple, ive done it about 3 times,,, evertime i messed the plastic up, i got a new one and melted it to the same dented tank...
