round 12 or flat 12

what is better and what is the difference? (other than the obvious one being flat and one being round)

Re: round 12 or flat 12

well depends on what you like, alot of people like round bars bcuz if you flip an endo its not like a guiltine comming down at your back

also if you scrape a round bar off center it wont twist and throw you around

but you cant do bar tricks on your flat bar and most people cut holes in their rear seat so they can put their foot there instead of in the flat bar

Re: round 12 or flat 12

Because of my squid status Im going with a round bar first because I want to keep my head on my body. Once I feel I have total control I'll get a flat bar. There's some stuff that Ive been dying to try with a flat bar but...I...dont want to...die...trying. Get it? Die? Because of the head...Nevermind

Honestly it is up to you. The flat bar you do have more of a chance to corkcsrew the bike, and have to be more precise on scraping. Round bar on the other hand wherever you hit it isn't going to catch the ground and spin the bike.

I honestly preffer a round bar but I'd rather just tap the bar instead of dragging it.

Re: round 12 or flat 12

If your still doing power wheelies, and/or if you can't go slow enough to control a scrape, GET A ROUND BAR BEFORE YOU KILL YOURSELF!

But if you can control a scrape, and you don't **** with endo's a lot, get whatever you want..

Personally I just started scraping tail plastic in the last few months, so I think I'm ready for flat or round bar... But if your not even dreaming of controlled scraping plastic, forget scraping a flat bar..

Re: round 12 or flat 12

round bar sucks , thats rookie status lol , jk , do what you feel is right , i love the flat bar if its perfectly straight that is , if the angle is of by a hair it makes a world of difference and gets squirmy , never had the round bar so i couldnt tell you which one is actually better
