i definately wear gear.... i'm no pro for sure and probably they can **** around under the right conditions and take a risk once in a while, but i need it. went down really easy a couple of weeks ago and broke 3 ribs at a VERY low speed. jacket, gloves, and helmet saved my ***. stunting is dangerous anyways and i guess i do some squidly **** that the gear wouldn't do much 4 me any ways, but i think it's pretty crucial.

 

i dont feel comfortable and my riding sucks if i leave off my jacket. it gives me the piece of mind to not be thinkin about crashing and the consequences.

 

helmet and gloves at all times. I wear the jacket for streets but not in the lots unless its stoppie practice.

 

I usually just rock the gloves and helmet....sometimes I put on a jacket usually its my Icon with the sleeves zipped off...

now in the winter though I have to wear two shirts and a hoodie heavy gloves helmet neck gator and sometimes a jacket over that just cuz its like 40-50 degrees on the warm days...o and in the winter I usually rock a pair of sweat pants under my jeans too...

 

i generally wear my jacket, helmet, and gloves. but when its hot i'd like to ditch the jacket. i think i'll buy some of those icon knee and elbow and back protectors

 

damn if it was 50 here in the winter, id just rock a hoodie, usually its 0-10 here.

 

Helmet and gloves! Broken clutch cables aint no joke.

 

Not wearing a jacket on the street is just a personal choice.. IF you go down your in pain for a long time, and you might have thousands in medical bills

Now riding in a parking lot while learning without a helmet, is just plain stupid. No medical bills or medical operations are gonna take care of a swelling brain

 

I know it makes me a bad person, but I find humor in it when people crash without gear on. Even when I do it.

 

Gloves, Jacket, and Helmet helped me in the past...my vote might change next year when I get a back protector.

 

i use my gear regularly haha and thats why i wear it. no reason not to wear gear...unless of course your jus to cool for school

 

I always wear jeans or dickies pants. I also always rock some full forearm/ellbow pads, helmet and gloves, i also just got a new chest protector so i will rock that as well. I have had some rash before and it sucks but i hate wearing a jacket. PS road rash on the nuts blows!!!

 

i'm actually thinking about going and spending close to 500 just for a jacket.. but when i was trying them on i feel trapped and they look juts plain stupid on me. im 6 foot and all the jackets cut off in the front right where my belly button is.. the back seems fine. iono its just not comfortable and let alone 500$ you know.
i did go down a few years back with just a hoodie and a jacket on, hit a curb and got launched over the bars at about 25-35mph.. and jumped right back up luckily. but i always rock helmet gloves.

but if i do get a jacket its gonna be icon, theyre a lil more loose than others.
i dont really stunt hardcore so i just wanna be safe with all these ****** driving around here and who cut in and out of lanes without signals and then say,, but i deent see u why u in my lane. i ****** HAATE EM some non speaking ****** maaaaaaaaaaaaaan thyere so stupid and clueless and then when the asian cops get to the scene i'm singled out .. BS

 

in canada its the law to wear a helmet and i want to wear one to and i wear icon field armour and gloves and my riding season almost done ha in barrie ontario we got almost a foot of snow ha it sucks *****

 

I usually wear a Helmet, Gloves, Back Protector and Kneepads. Sometimes I wear thor body armor.

 

helmet and gloves no matter what I just cant ride with out it. and I used to always wear a jacket and then I had a time period when i felt confident and it was like 90+ degrees out so i was rockign in just a t shirt. I went down pritty fast dicking around and I was in pain for ever deep roadrash alll over I slid on my knees and forearms so it just ground through raw flesh on my arms and ripped my pants clean off. pure pain, like undescribeable sitting int he hospital as the doctors scrubbed and scraped the tar out of my flesh. no amount of painkillers covered up the pain. once i got out of the hospital i had to wash the wound 2-3 times a day becasue it was so deep it was in high risk of serious infection. and i was all doped up and it was still pure pain 3 times a day scrubing it.

I had buddies crash before and go through similiar **** and I didnt learn until I went through it my self.
and I guarentee 90% of you wont until it happens to you.

so basically on the street I wear jacket, or pads, or at least a sweatshirt. I have a mesh armor jacket so its not bad in hot weather andstil protects. but in the lots ill just rock sweat shirt or my icon gear or some times just a tshirt if im jsut dickin aorund doin 5mph ****.

Always wear my leather alpinestars jacket, gloves, helmet and knee/shin pads. I'm not a fan of cleaning gravel out of my body.

How many stunters do you see with a spine protector, as opposed to just a gloves and helmet?

I think gloves/helmet is the typical stunter gear... But of course some people do wear spine protection, jackets, pants, knee/shin pads/elbow pads and what not


and I see a lot of people run gloves only.. Personally on a sport bike I always wear gloves and helmet.. but on the fiddy sometimes I rock out just gloves
