Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?

I think I'm going to order one of these this week. Don't really have the money for it... but **** it.

I'd rather eat top ramen and do the bike right, than eat steaks and risk the cost of repairs.

Hell, who wants to die healthy anyways?

CAN SOMEONE POST A PIC OF THE OMR SUBCAGE ON A 929 !!!???

Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?

Think I'd have any problems with your cage after I install this undertail kit?

Thanks again!

EDIT:

And ooh yeah. I had a general knowledge question about subcages... With that bar that runs from 1 side to the other... is it kind of designed to divide the load of a crash to both sides of the cage at once kind of deal? So that you're less likely to break a tab, or the subframe in general? Would like to hear from the horses mouth how these work the way they do.

Thanks

Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?

you are exactly right about the cross bar it keeps the tabs and the rail the tabs are on from bending in a crash and the fact that the bar the peg is connected to is steel it is alot stronger then the aluminum stock peg bracket ...

this wont happen with an omr subcage

and the under tail looks like it wil fit but i can't say for sure

Re: Any Pics of OMR Subcage?

the tire hump looks to be be in the same place .....

and another advantage to the cross bar is it helps keep the subframe from tweeking from one side to the other because it ties the two sides together and you will notice the subframe will be stiffer with a subcage
