Re: After Market Fairings
i just ran into a guy who had a set on his 1000rr. it looked pretty damn good. ive heard some REALLY good and bad things but more on the good side.
some bad things ive heard
-sometimes gettin them to fit takes some work, but SO DO THE FIBER GLASS ones
-if you dont put the heat shield padding in certain places, it might bubble up
-they are NOT interchangable with the stock OEM
- some of the tabs are weak
- sometimes you have to do a lil cutting
OVERALL from all the feedback ive heard from people, its worth the money. you cant complain for a FULL set of ABS plastics PAINTED for less than $700 shipped. ive seen some sets sell for $450 SHIPPED!!!

I part out bikes and if I get something like a theft recovery in basically mint condition, I can't make a profit if I sell USED bodywork that cheap, I'm jealous!
I need Tucker Rocky to start carrying that stuff LOL.
I've been wanting to buy some and see what it's like. If it really is good, I need to figure out a way to become a retailer for whoever is distributing it.
Re: After Market Fairings
also look at the feedback each seller has....a few of the guys are into the thousands and I'd trust them....but some of those guys have a feedback of like 3 or 5 ........ check out auctmarts something....I've gotten a windshield from him and he was good about everything and has like 99% positive feedback and like 20000 feedbacks.....
Re: After Market Fairings
If you aren't hung up on abs/plastic. These guys make pretty good fairings and they aren't too expensive. I bought a whole set for my gixxer and the whole set was lighter than my stock upper.
