1000rr stunt project

i recently had my truck an my f3 "stuntbike" stolen from me about 3 weeks ago. now im *** out an can't stunt no more. i still have my cbr 1000rr though. hmmmm. its pretty much bone stock right now. im thinkin about stuntin that bitch out cause im goin crazy not being able to wheelie. does anyone think im crazy or is it a good idea. i don't really see anyone stuntin on a 1000rr. it a big bike an i a small guy. my bike is really nice to an i hate to just tear it up but in need to stunt. im havin a hard time findin good stunt parts cause they only make **** for the 600rr. im also thinkin of rockin ff but i can do more tricks street fighter. just want a lil feed back

Too nice of a bike to Streetfighter.

Keep it F.F. and rock it. Go like 5 up in the back if you're feelin froggy.

ehh, my front fairing got busted...let my friend try to ride it in the parkin lot here and he just ran right into a flatbead.

kinda shitty and funny at the same time cause he is a big kid and just idlein and i was yellin for him to brake. anyways, an acerbis diamond was cheaper than gettin a new fairing. just gotta figure out where to put all the wires and where im gonna put the gauge

Re: 1000rr stunt project

i was thinkin of molding my dash into my tank cover right in front of the gas cap. i just hope i have enough room under the cover to wire it up an it sit flush with the tank cover. if not then its smashin time

i seen somebody else on here do that and was figurin that was really the only place i could put mine honestly. wasnt gonna mold it tho, prolly just drill some holes in the tank cover and tighten the biznitch down. was also thinkin bout cuttin a couple small holes in my airbox so i could snake the wires thru so i could have some extra room...what u think? the k&n filters would catch anything in case something actually fell off in there

Re: 1000rr stunt project

does any of yall know what an oil pick is an does. i know there a thread on here about it but i can't find it an i aint got that much time to find it casue im at work an i got cars to paint. if you just put your dash on top of your tank you might kick it off jumpin to highchair. thats what i worried about . thats why im gonna mold it in an it would look more professional

Re: 1000rr stunt project

Just ride it as is. If you wanna do slow stuff a cage is a good idea, you would need to do an idle cable mod, and a rear sprocket.

Other than that it's good to go.

Re: 1000rr stunt project

its gonna be a bitch to mount a handbrake with that hydraulic clutch. your gonna have to run 2 radial masters to fit it.

Re: 1000rr stunt project

These people make guage brackets. They dont have the RR's listed on their site but I did speak with the woman who runs the shop and she seemed more than willing to help in any way. She told me that if my guage didnt fit with the Acerbis that she would make me a custom bracket.

Re: 1000rr stunt project

Stunt that bitch out! My friend had a 600rr that he stunted, traded it in on a 1000rr (b/c he wanted a minty bike), fucked up on a stoppie, so now hes stuck with a 1000 stunter too. It seems to be a pretty good stunter.
