Has anyone out there put dirt bars on there 05/06 600rr when i had my 04 i put db bars on them easy it just bought the bar mounts drilled the holes and then i was bangin gears with db bars but with the 05/06 the triple tree it has a F%$#ing slop so drilling at an angle is a no-go cause the bars wont line up i've been running my bike with flipped clip ons for now.I know about the LSL conversion top clamp but i anit got $400-$500 to blow right now. So if anyone has a RR and is running DB Bars post some pics of your top clamp and let me know how you set it up

 

Just get an aftermarket tripple and drill it. like a vortex or something 150.00 or so.

 

I use my milling machine and put two perfect holes in the "angled" tripple trees then I mill the same angle that is on the tripple clamp onto some bar risers and then I make an angled washer for the underside of the tripple tree pocket to add a little strength. . .
