Which do u prefer and where did you buy yours? Bc i am looking into a 56 tooth and i am wondering what you prefer.

i have steel. never tried Al, but i've heard they are nowhere near as durable.

why yes they are but i have pmed the guy who said he made them no responce that the gearedsteel place online only has 520 sprockets not 525. so back to my question anyone no of any OTHER places.

Steel all the way if you're planning on using them for a while. I can second the other guy that had a Vortex sprocket and mine wore down extremely quickly as well.
