it doesn't need 600 miles.....that's a bunch of crap. i build race motors and never put that many miles on them. i put 20 miles on the motor, change out the break in oil and it's ready to go. never had a rebuilt or new motor blow up on me and they all run really strong with that combo.
the main thing, after you've rode it any at all you have to get that oil out. it's so stupid to keep the break in oil (oil from setup at the dealership) in even after 1 ride. it's littered with aluminum from rings, cylinder walls and transmission pieces. change it asap and take your oil filter off and cut it in half if you do'nt believe me. i'll put money that it's almost completely clogged with crap after only a few miles of riding.

His shop built road race motors, drag motors, dirt oval motors, paved oval motors, salt-flat motors, and bike motors. Everything from 70 horse v-dubs to 1K+ horse monster V-8s and weird **** for the salt flat cars.
I don't remember his exact method, but give it a little exercise on the dyno, change the oil, then REALLY lean into it, change the oil, and it was ready for the track.

i had the bike loaded in the trailer and ready to go and my boss would no let me off!!!!!!!!!!! sucked,,, i wanted to be there so bad,,,, i was thinking you might be there with the section 8 boys,, how are you progressing???? heard bout the scrape gone bad
